Firstly, the mixture of medium-pressure steam and feed gas enters the raw material preheating section of convection chamber. After that, reformer tube arrives at the upper manifold through crossover located in the top of radiation chamber. Then, it is distributed to each upper pigtail. The conversion reaction takes place in reformer tubes which packed with catalyst. The converted gas after conversion reaction is delivered from the bottom of the reformer tubes through lower pigtail. Finally, the converted gas collected in lower manifold is delivered to the Waste Heat Boiler to produce steam and cool down.
